Two days ago on Wednesday, Brighton resort opened up the lifts to begin the Salt Lake City season, and I was there. It was great. I have been in Vegas for the past two seasons and so I haven't been boarding in almost three years. In the almost 18 years that I have been snowboarding, I have gone at least once every season except the last two. Enough about that.
How does Twitter fit in?
As it turns out, you get good cell phone reception up Big Cottonwood canyon at Brighton. So when my out of shape legs needed a rest, I would send a tweet or take a picture with my cell phone and email it to my wife. With my twitter account attached to my FaceBook status, it was a great way to make all of my friends sitting in their cubicle at work, wish they were up on the mountain with me.
